There are three time slots available: 10am-11.30am, 12.30pm-2pm, 2.30pm-4pm.

Join Keith Sparrow for this free family learning workshop at Kresen Kernow, and learn how to create a fabulous illustrated initial, inspired by medieval illuminated letters.

Keith has created a fabulous ‘Out of the Ordinary’ alphabet for our current exhibition.

Hall for Cornwall, in association with o-region, present an irreverent whistlestop performance at Kresen Kernow which demystifies the marvellous medieval manuscripts on display in our Out of the Ordinary exhibition.

Brought to you by an ensemble of four performers from the New Artists Network and written and directed by Simon Harvey (o-region) the show will be a bluffer’s guide to the Cornish miracle and mystery plays. Expect entertaining physical storytelling with a healthy dollop of irreverent comedy.

The performance aims to leave you a little bit wiser about the significance of these medieval manuscripts and their continued influence on Cornwall’s unique theatre traditions!

Performances will take place three times on Saturdays in August (at 10.30, 12.30 and 2.30) at Kresen Kernow and will last approximately 20 mins. Suitable for all the family.
