Learning from home

If you’re interested in learning from home, then Kresen Kernow offers a range of resources and activities.

For some creative inspiration, we have a calendar of daily prompts and challenges, all on the theme of Home. It was devised for January, but you can take part any time. You can download the calendar here: creative calendar.

We’ve also got seven creative challenges, inspired by our archives and devised by artist Vicki Aimers, which you can find here.

Looking for inspiration? Watch our creative writing activity film, inspired by a space explorer from our archives…

You could also try our family history project and our online exhibition

…and our local history project, if you’re keen to explore your local area more.

Did you know you can search thousands of our digitised images right here on this website?

You can also visit our YouTube channel to watch more than 70 films about our collections and Cornish history, as well as our recent series of talks.

We have a range of online exhibitions, and are always adding more.

Our learning pages include suggested activities and resources for children about the Great Fire of London, Children in Cornish Mines and Evacuation to Cornwall in World War II.

We also share lots of content and activities via our social media channels. Find us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @kresenkernow.
