Kresen Kernow offers free primary school visits, outreach workshops, online resources and loans packs on a number of themes. Each activity is based on original documents from our archives and provides a local perspective on the topic. Pupils will develop their research and enquiry skills, as well as comprehension skills, by having access to the real ‘building blocks’ of history.
To see what themes and activities we offer, and to book a visit or workshop, please explore the links below. Our YouTube channel is also full of short films that may inspire you.
Please note: even though these workshops are designed with specific Key Stages in mind, it may be possible to adapt them to suit older or younger children. Please don’t hesitate to ask.
