Kresen Kernow is home to more than a million documents, books and photographs about Cornwall. These collections have developed over more than sixty years and should cover every area of life in Cornwall, and the people connected to it.
The archive material – such as documents, photographs and maps – has been gathered from a huge number of sources, including landowning families, local organisations and individuals. The book collection covers a wide range of topics connected to Cornwall and includes books about Cornish people, fiction set in Cornwall and books by Cornish writers.
